The colorful, expressive painting was applied to the very fine-threaded and dense warp as a resource-saving digital print before the weaving process. With this warp printing technique, the warp threads shift slightly towards each other during weaving and a deliberately blurred color effect is created, especially on the outer edges of the painted leaf shapes.
