Xanadu captures the pattern of the original carved openwork lacquer doors in a panel print that is bordered on the sides with a classic fretwork frieze, in a palette that ranges from soft to bold hues and includes a cobalt blue-and-coral red colourway. The printed fretwork border that lines the sides of the paper may be trimmed off and used to edge the walls in a room papered with the main design.
