Collection:
Songket is inspired by and derives its name from a type of traditional southeast Asian silk textile often used for sarongs, that feature intricate patterns created by brocaded weft yarns, often in gold. Jim Thompson's multihued version is woven with fine cotton strie yarns and has a design of richly patterned bands across its width. Its supple hand makes it suitable for both curtain panels and upholstery uses. Shown here in the Persian Red colourway.
