This week our designers scoured this popular interiors event in the capital, packed with fresh looks and exclusive exhibitors. We popped to the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour too, so here’s our pick of the best key looks to bring you inspiration for this Spring/Summer season.

January’s neon trend has given way to a palette of muted, jewel tones that are great at adding instant colour appeal. Couple this with the Tribal and Asian-inspired Ikat prints we spotted from the top fabric brands and you’ll give vibrancy to upholstered items in need of a lift.

Another huge trend we love is 1950’s vintage tweed patterns that popped up everywhere, from miniature houndstooth to textured plains – think Jacqui Kennedy’s pink suit! It’s certainly on Designers Guild’s radar as they bring out two new inspired collections; Brera Filato and Sloane, soon to be available.

Through the seasons, industrial materials still make an appearance, now with a more natural look with statement organic wood pieces spotted in every design hall. You can easily inject this refreshed style without a furniture overhaul by adding this wooden panel effect to your walls.

So what do we predict will be the next big thing? Scandinavian style furniture, matched with neutral wallpapers with a touch of texture. Add in the striking patterned fabrics on soft furnishings and you’ll feel like you were at Interiors LDN with us!
